How to Play
Set up a U shaped path. Half a basketball court works well.
Divide players into 2 teams.
Have each team line up and the 2 ends of the path.
On GO, the first player from each team runs along the path towards each other. When the 2 players meet on the path they stop and play Rock, Paper, Scissors until 1 player wins.
The winner continues to run along the path in the same direction. The losing player rejoins her team at the end of the line. The next player from the losing team starts running on the path as soon as the winner starts running.
Again, when the 2 players meet they play Rock, Paper, Scissors until 1 player wins. Continue to play until 1 player makes it all the way along the path to the other side.
When a player makes it all the way to the other end of the path he scores a point for his team and rejoins his team at the end of the line. The first team to score 10 points is the winner.
Rock, Paper, Scissors
Rock, Paper, Scissors is a simple hand game.
2 players stand facing each other 2 steps apart. Both players form a fist with 1 hand. Together they say ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. On SCRISSORS, players pick 1 of the following 3 objects to show with their hand:
Rock – Keep hand in a fist
Paper – Flat hand, palm down
Scissors – 2 fingers spread out (like a sideways peace sign)
The players must show their object at the same time. After both players have played an object, look to see who won. The order of the game determines who won.
The order of the game is Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beat Paper, and Paper beats Rock.
If players show the same object it is a tie and they play again.
Change the Fun
Play in a straight line instead of a U.
Add obstacles along the path.
